    My interest in Munich started with a friend mentioning the city planning and how nice the city has become lately. Combined with the interesting history of the place and the wide range of museums, activities and exhibitions it was an easy decision to go here. My only memory from the place at this point was a trainride in the 1990´s so I was ready for a new visit.

    Architecture and beer

    We were on our way going north/home from Italy. A beautiful trip of course, coming with bus and train from Bolzano via Kitzbühl. But Munich dit not disappoint either. People on the streets, but not too crowded, easy to find something to eat or drink. You will easily find both fine dining and knödl and bratwurst. The cities lay-out is pretty straight forward, but if you get lost you will easily find a tram or a taxi.
