It is loved by many, the Catalan capital. I have visited countless times and lived in it, the last time was just before the pandemic hit. If your feet get tired, it’s easy to take the subway, bus, or tram. A couple of other options are to go by bike or hail a taxi.

Welcome to Gaudis masterpiece La Pedrera
Stumbled upon an album from my first visit 2011, to La Pedrera or Casa Milá. I walked through an apartment and went to the attic to learn about the efforts and challenges Antonio Gaudi met, regarding architecture and construction 1906-1912.
The beautiful design can be seen in movies like

And you wonder “why did Gaudi hang those chains above a mirror?” Good question! It was not about it looking nice, but how to calculate and construct arches and bends.
